The series lead way to 'Rocky and His Friends' in 1959, co-created with Alex Anderson. Often credited as an early version of the Bullwinkle Show, the prime time cartoon premiered in November 29th at 6:30pm on ABC. The series was an instant hit among children and adults. Kids loved the witty characters, while adults enjoyed the social commentaries and satire. The show starred Rocky, the flying squirrel, Bullwinkle, his motley friend, and the two Pottsylvanian spies, Boris and Natasha.

While The Adventures of Rocky and Bullwinkle flip flopped from local stations to Nickeloden (they renamed it Moose-O-Rama?!) in the early 90's the fans remain true, supporting the series. Luckily the moose and squirrel found a stable home in 1996 when Turner Broadcasting's Cartoon Network picked up the series. The channel now has become a meeting place for other of classic cartoons. In 1998, Cartoon Network also acquired the rights to The Dudley Do-right Show, making it the ultimate place for Rocky and Bullwinkle fans. Today Rocky and Bullwinkle still live on in national commericals and the hearts of viewers.

This seemingly dense and ignorant moose is wise about some things. Most of the time he gets by on sheer luck. He is Bullwinkle J. Moose, citizen of Frostbite Falls, Minnesota, president of Moosylvania, best pal of Rocket J. Squirrel. He is known for being the stupidest in America. Bullwinkle spends most of his time with Rocky, trying to catch the bad guys, Boris Badenov and Natasha Fatale. Bullwinkle is brown and fuzzy, doesn't always wear clothing, but wears size 22 shoes. Bullwinkle is single.

ROCKY:

He's the brainy flying squirrel. He lives with Bullwinkle Moose, in Frostbite Falls. He is a real sleuth, Boris and Natasha's imminent downfall. He never goes anywhere without his cap and goggles. Rocky is gray, and unlike what some sources say, his nose is gray, too, not black. He is a single squirrel. Rocky is currently running for President. Support him!

BORIS:

He's a very evil little man. He works with Natasha Fatale. Both doing mean things to the world. Rocky and Bullwinkle, who defend the innocent from the evil plans of Boris and Natasha. Boris has no friends. Just enemies, or so he says. He is taller than Rocky and wears a black suit and hat. Boris has never defeated Rock and Bullwinkle. He is very unlucky.

NATASHA:

She's the very mean lady that works with Boris Badenov to make the world a mean place. She works for Fearless Leader along with Boris.! Natasha doesn't seem to be a strong character. Little is known about Natasha, besides her strong Pottsylvanian heritage and her tendency for meanness. There's talk that her character had something to do with the affects of the Cold War on Americans, but according to her, she knows no such thing!

DUDLEY DO-RIGHT:

This RCMP (Royal Canadian Mountie Police) camp in which he lives and works to fight crime. His arch nemesis is the evil Snidely Whiplash, a gray fellow who has one thing on his mind....mischief. Dudley is constantly in pursuit of him. Dudley's superior, the respectful Inspector Fenwick, has a lovely daughter, Nell, who is Dudley's lady friend. She is kind and sweet, and really likes Dudley's horse, "Horse," a lot. Dudley has received many awards for his bravery. Hopefully someday he can catch Snidely Whiplash and keep him behind bars.
